bridge may ice,
shoulder ends ahead—
road signs
I see for the first time
soon after her passing

A very effective, multi-layered poem.

ReplyDeleteThose road signs...so easy to miss them in people we love.
ReplyDeleteAdelaide
there should be a "love" button. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks, everyone!
ReplyDeleteOne-year anniversary of her passing in a few days.
